We know, GTA 6 has had a ton of release date leaks, but we think we finally found the real one. However, this one breaks our heart. Sorry in advance.
If you were on Twitter yesterday, you probably already know what this is about. Another GTA 6 Release Date leak has come out, only that this time, the leaker is not just reliable (it’s Tom Henderson, we all know and love him), but the leak can be backed up by a recent shareholder event from Take-Two.
The leak comes in the form of a ten-minute YouTube video, where the GTA VI release date, the GTA 6 setting and more is being discussed. You can watch it here:
If you’re too lazy to watch the entire video and actually just want to get down to the bad news about the GTA 6 release date, then here it comes.
- Ever wanted to play GTA as a woman? Looks like you can in GTA 6.
When Is The GTA 6 Release Date?
GTA 6 will release in 2025 according to Tom Henderson. There. Ripping off that bandage immediately. After the initial shock that came with this announcement, Twitter was full of memes, but the gist of it is this: if it’s really taking them four more years to release GTA VI, then we expect the best quality possible. And we think that with that much time, Rockstar can indeed ensure quality. So before you get all upset, remember Cyberpunk 2077. Do you really want that to ever happen again? Exactly.
Which Platforms Will GTA 6 Release On?
GTA 6 will supposedly release on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. If this turns out to be true, then a GTA VI release date in 2025 makes even more sense, as people are still desperately trying to get their next-gen consoles. Four more years should (hopefully) be enough time for everyone who want to get their hands on a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S to do so.
Now, as with all the other release date leaks (because there have been a few, mind you), they should be taken with a grain of salt. We will only know for sure whether GTA VI is released in 2025 once Rockstar announce it themselves. Nevertheless, we once again want to emphasize that Tom Henderson really is a reliable source for leaks. When he leaks something that he’s not 100% sure about, he will always be honest about it. He's really got a name for himself at this point, and we wouldn’t be surprised if he now also starts leaking stuff from games other than CoD or Battlefield.
Be honest... do you believe this new leak? I get it if you don't, but I'd be interested in hearing your opinion. Why don't you write us on Facebook or Twitter?
