Pokémon is all the hype now: Pokémon Arceus, Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Go... and it's all on Nintendo or mobile. Now, console and PC-players can get in on some Pokémon-like action with Monster Crown.
Retro-Pokémon was the best Pokémon. Agreed? Good, because that's what you're getting with Monster Crown: Legit, old-school Pokémon. The monsters are animal-based and not based on abstract modern art, and the graphics are pixelated. All the goodness you remember from Pokémon Red & Green from the GameBoy, except all spiced up for the modern era.

What Is Monster Crown & Why Should I Care?
Monster Corwn is an RPG that's about catching monsters. If you didn't already know that by now, then... I can't even. Monster Crown was in Steam Early Access for about a year and is now getting a full release on October 12 for literally every console and PC.
Monster Crown takes place on Crown Island, because why bother with creative naming. You need to stop the evil that's threatening the island by bonding with up to 200 Monsters – the monsters of Crown island. You see, where the game's name is coming from. If 200 monsters are not enough, you can also breed and fuse every monster and take the whole experience online to play with friends.
To add a little spice to everything, Monster Crown even has decision-making and player-choices that affect the ending. Real RPG-stuff, folks. They ain't skimping.
Basically: If you like Pokémon or retro-RPGs, this is a no-brainer. October 12, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Mark the date.
