MultiVersus is launching into a "full open beta" this month, as has been announced by developers PlayerFirst Games and Publisher Warner Brothers. The crazy brawler, featuring a jarring combination of characters from Warner franchises, including Shaggy, Arya Stark and Batman, will soft-launch on PC, PlayStation and Xbox with the start of the beta.

MultiVersus Launching In July

The MultiVersus open beta will launch on July 26 for PC via Steam, PlayStation & Xbox. However, if you're too eager to play the fighting game and can't wait until that date, Early Access is also available from next week, July 19. To gain access, you will either have to have played the closed beta, or you can sign up for it on the official website and gain access via Twitch drops.

In the open beta, players will have access to a wide variety of characters, maps, and modes:

  • Characters: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn (DC); Shaggy and Velma (Scooby-Doo); Bugs Bunny and Tasmanian Devil a.k.a. Taz (Looney Tunes); Arya Stark (Game of Thrones); Jake the Dog and Finn the Human (Adventure Time); Steven Universe and Garnet (Steven Universe); Tom & Jerry (Tom and Jerry); The Iron Giant (The Iron Giant), and an extraordinary original creature named Reindog. Please note, Harley Quinn, Shaggy, Jake the Dog, and Taz will be immediately available to play when the Open Beta begins. All other characters can be unlocked through gameplay.
  • Maps: The Batcave (DC), Tree Fort & Tree Fort 1 vs. 1 (Adventure Time), Scooby’s Haunted Mansion (Scooby-Doo), Trophy's E.D.G.E., Trophy’s E.D.G.E. 2, Classic 3 Platform, and Training Room.
