We saw a new trailer for Fable 4 at the Xbox showcase in June. The trailer reveals a very exciting cast member, as well as confirming a fan-theory regarding the setting.
It's been over 13 years since the last Fable game was released, and at one point many believed the series was completely dead. However, we've just received a new trailer for the upcoming game.
We sadly don't have a release date yet, but the trailer was great. It featured some awesome casting and it basically confirmed a fan-theory about Fable 4 being a reboot of the first game as opposed to an ordinary sequel.
- Want to play this gem? Then you'll need an Xbox . Luckily, the Series S is still only $250!
New Fable Trailer Invites Fans To Return To Old Albion
Before we get too far ahead, check out Richard Ayeode in the most recent Fable trailer:
Fan reaction was largely positive, with many praising the trailer for capturing the light-hearted tone of Fable so perfectly. But besides the writing, the trailer also implied that this game would be "returning to its roots" in a more literal sense. Even though we only saw a few of the natural environments in this trailer, they were all clearly harking back to the English pastoral setting of the first game. This is the Old Albion of Fable 1, not that of Fable 2 or 3. Hype.
We will update you as soon as more information regarding Fable is announced. Until then, check out the best game of the summer.
Are you happy about Fable 4 being more of a reboot than a sequel?
