Devs Tease: Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Will Have Goku as DLC

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is here, and the game is better than a lot of people expected: It launched to good reviews and is giving Smash Bros a run for its money. Is All-Star Brawl the new platform-fighting star? That's much too early to say, but you rest assured that the game will go ham with fighter reveals: With the endless number of Nickelodeon licenses, the roster would already be massive enough as it is, but now developer and character designer Thaddeus Crews has our heads spinning with this announcement:

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Devs Are Considering to Add Goku

The reveal came while Thaddeus Crews made an appearance on Hungrybox's podcast. A viewer popped the question on whether it's a possibility Goku might be added to the game, and you can listen to Crews' response below from 27:26-28:30:

In response to the question, Thaddeus Crews said that the team considered adding Goku, before miming his mouth zipped shut. That's not a no, and we all know that avoiding an answer in the gaming industry means that you're up to something. Before going hush-hush, Crews suggests that licenses which found their way onto the Nickelodeon platform, might also be viable to appear in the game. Since Dragonball Kai aired on Nickelodeon, it fits the ball, and all of its characters might be fair game.

This is huge, since it obviously drastically expands the possibilities of which characters we might see in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. If they do indeed add Dragon Ball DLC in the form of Goku... well, then it might just be the largest fighting roster of all-time.
