Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Game Start Revealed
The past few days have been a constant high for all Zelda fans, with Nintendo launching a stunning new trailer that finally gave us a glimpse into the game's intriguing storyline. And if that wasn't enough, there was a leaked ad circling around the internet, adding to the excitement.
Now it gets even better, Nintendo has just revealed some interesting details about Tears of the Kingdom and the start of Link's journey on their official website.
As we all know, the large open world map of Hyrule has been expanded with "Skyrule" or the "Sky Islands", whatever you might call them. Until now, we didn't really know what part these islands would play in the storyline, but Nintendo has shed a bit of light on that now.
Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – New Villain Has Fans Thirsting
The official Zelda website states the following:
Link begins his journey on one of the many mysterious floating islands that have suddenly appeared in the skies high above Hyrule. It’s there our hero will have to gain new abilities before returning to the surface world to begin his epic adventure.
With this information, it has been confirmed that Link will undergo a tutorial similar to the one he experienced on the great plateau in Breath of the Wild. This first prologue of the game helps players with getting into the game's mechanics and unlocking Links new abilities.
But that's not all, there must be something significant happening between the ending of Breath of the Wild and the beginning of Tears of the Kingdom.
I assume that in the beginning of the game, Link will wake up, sleeping beauty style, and we will find ourselves on the sky islands... But how did Link get there? What happened to Hyrule? Why doesn't Link have his old abilities anymore?
Questions upon questions, and I think the answer is waiting for us to be revealed on May 12.
I can't wait to finally play this game. Make sure to pre-order it on Amazon , so that it gets to you on release date.
