Sony's upcoming PlayStation State of Play will feature an in-depth look at Arkane's Deathloop, a spiritual successor to Dishonored. In addition, the 30-minute PlayStation State of Play presentation will feature a look at upcoming Indie Games and third-party titles. Let's take a look at what we can expect from the new !

Yes, you heard that right: it's time for more Dishonored, and we're getting a glimpse on Thursday! How crazy is that? PlayStation's latest State of Play is set to feature Arkane's new PS5 and PC exclusive Deathloop, and it's going to be hype. Seriously – insanely hype. Actually, you know what? When is Sony's Next PlayStation State of Play?

Sony will be broadcasting its new PlayStation State of Play on July 8, at about 2PM PT. Yep, that's right: it's happening on Thursday! Isn't that just neat? Oh, apologies, that's also a kind-of cringey word. Anyway, you will be able to catch it on all the expected streaming platforms on Thursday, and it's going to feature some pretty cool new games. Again, it's at 2PM PT on July 8 – that means 5PM ET, 10PM GBT, and 11PM CEST.

What Will Be at the PlayStation State of Play?

This week's PlayStation State of Play will specifically feature an in-depth exploration of Arkane's Deathloop, as well as Indie and Third-Party Games. It has been specifically clarified by Sony that God of War, Horizon Forbidden West, and the new PlayStation VR will not be featured. However, they did clarify that we will have updates in the next few months!

What is Deathloop?

Deathloop is a new game from Arkane, and looks like a possible spiritual-successor to the sublime Dishonored. At the PlayStation State of Play we will be seeing an extended gameplay sequence from the game, where they will showoff "abilities to stealthily skulk across rooftops"... Sounds intriguing!
