Finally! The most awaited day has come. PlayStation 5 will be released today, November 12. Well, at least in half of the world. Europe has to be patient for another week... Thanks, Sony!
We are all eagerly awaiting the next-gen console from Sony – the biggest competitor, the Xbox Series X is already on the market. Today it is finally time for PlayStation fans – at least in one part of the world. In the USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea, those who pre-ordered can start using their new PS5 from today-on. The rest of the world, including Europe and the UK, will have to wait another week until November 19 - we are outraged, are you?
As Sony has announced, there will be no consoles in stores for the release. Those who wanted to get a PS5 directly for the release had to pre-order it online. As expected, the console was sold out directly. So far, it is not known when the new console will be available in retail stores. But Sony promised that more consoles would be available for online purchase at the release.
As we already know, the PS5 will take up a lot of space due to its size. On the other hand, it will be much quieter than the current PS4 Pro, which sometimes sounds more like a vacuum cleaner than a console. In addition, the fan of the PS5 can also be adjusted with online updates. Of course, there is also a decent graphics upgrade compared to the previous generation and thanks to the SSD, the loading times will also be much shorter.
