On May 30, 2023 a PlayStation blog was posted online, outlining that Ratchet & Clank would be making its way to PC in the coming months. This is going to happen thanks to the recent 20th anniversary of the series, so PC gamers get ready to play the game in a whole new way!

Ratchet & Clank made their debut all the way back in 2002 for the PlayStation 2. Since then the series has become a staple and is finally making its way to the PC as well.

Ratchet & Clank PC Port Announced

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart was released in 2021, now two years later the game will be getting a PC port, with Nixxes Software announcing that the PC version will be available on July 26, 2023.

Since Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart also features a stand-alone story, it's a great way for newcomers to the series to get a feel for the universe, if they've never played any of the games on the PlayStation before.

How will the PC version look? Well by the sounds of it, pretty darn nice. According to the PlayStation blog post, the game will feature ray-traced reflections which will enable realistic shadows and natural gradients.

Frame rates also shouldn't be an issue for any PC gamers, so go wild with your Ultra-super-mega-HD-etc monitors. If you're unsure of how good it should look, then just check out the blog post yourselves, there are some images right there.

You'll be able to pick up the game in the Epic Games Store or on Steam and if you pre-order the game you can also get a few freebies which should make your space adventure a little easier and more stylish.

Honestly, as a fan of the Ratchet & Clank games I'm just hyped for the PC port since these games are fun for anyone to enjoy!
