Resident Evil Re: Verse is highly anticipated, but also shrouded in mystery. Now, there is a sign of life.
Thanks to Gematsu, Resident Evil Re: Verse has been revealed to still be a thing. Gematsu spotted that Re: Verse received its Stadia age rating in Europe, which is a big deal, because a game that gets rated, is a game that gets a release. Of course, Resident Evil Re: Verse was rated for the PlayStation, Xbox, and PC over a year ago, but this new Stadia rating is recent and thus... relevant.
Resident Evil Re: Verse Is Still Happening
Of course, a rating is not exactly the hottest news of the day, but its the first sign of life we've had for Re: Verse in a long time. The game was first announced in January 2021, and was meant to be released along with Resident Evil Village in May of the same year. Then, the game got delayed into July 2021, and is currently set for an undisclosed release date in 2022.
If you don't know what Resident Evil Re: Verse is, it's a multiplayer game, that will let you play as the characters from the franchise and take on the evil together. Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Scott Kennedy, Ada Wong... they're all available for you and your friends to play as.
