You Can Now Stream Google Stadia on Xbox

Microsoft added their Edge browser to the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. This means you can now access Discord and, more importantly, streaming services like Google Stadia.

So this is huge. I don't know if people understand how huge this really is. The Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One now feature the Edge browser, which makes it possible to access Discrod – which is cool – and also gives you access to Google Stadia. That means, an old Xbox One can now run 4K next gen games via Game Pass and Google Stadia, for a fraction of the price of any other modern hardware.

This. Is. Huge.

Xbox Adds Edge Browser With Stadia Access

I basically said everything you needed to know already. If you're not familiar with Edge though, then... well it's just your typical browser and the Xbox version looks, operates and works no different than its PC and mobile counterpart. You can also sync your history and content across all devices, which is great for gaming and can be awkward for porn.

You can also plug in a mouse and keyboard, meaning the entire Microsoft Office online suite is accessible, if you wanted to do that on your console for some reason.

The biggest thing about this is what I already touched on before though: Stadia access. In fact, Nvidia GeForce Now and Steam online are also accessible, which, on top of the Game Pass feature any Xbox natively has, turns any Xbox One or Xbox Series S into a very, very affordable and beefy gaming powerhouse.

There is also no waiting time: Edge is available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S effective immediately.
