It seems that the Russian hackers who broke into the servers of the GSC Game World studio have kept their word. A six–minute video of the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl has hit the web.

Some time ago we informed you about the situation at GSC Game World studio, where the production of the next part of the cult survival-horror game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart Of Chornobyl is in progress. The game's release has already been postponed several times due to difficulties in the production process.

The Ukrainian developers of the Stalker 2 game have suffered constant hacking attacks for more than a year. The latest attack involved blackmail, in which Russian hackers threatened to release leaks about the new release to the web.

STALKER 2: Leaked Game Video – How Much Does It Show?

It happened. Gigabytes of gameplay footage from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 have been uploaded to the web. A series of production materials from this upcoming game show numerous visual effects, scripted sequences and cutscenes.

However, that's not all. Russian hackers also tried to spread a brief summary of the archive, a map of the game world with all the locations and lots of markings, an outline of the game's plot (even the appearance and death of key characters) and much more.

But if you were expecting that we would give you access to any leaked files, you are sorely mistaken. We stand firmly in support of the developers of this iconic FPS. We want to wish them every success, and we won't be sharing any of the materials.

Despite so many difficulties in production, they have not stopped their mission and continue to develop the game for us, the fans. Therefore, as a token of gratitude, let's take care not to waste their effort. After all, we don't want to ruin your excitement about this new title.
