The Steam Awards

In addition to all the sweet deals, Valve continue with the annual Steam Awards. Players will be able to nominate their favorite games in not eight (like last year) but 10 categories in 2020:

  • Game of the Year
  • VR Game of the Year
  • Labor of Love
  • Best Game You Suck At
  • Outstanding Visual Style
  • Most Innovative Gameplay
  • Outstanding Story-Rich Game
  • Better With Friends
  • Best Soundtrack
  • Sit Back and Relax Game

For nominating a game you’ll also get a badge. You can level it up further by nominating a game in each category, playing one of the games you nominated and writing/updating a review for one of the nominees.

Remember the Steam Points Shop? It’s nowloaded with autumn-themed avatars, backgrounds, badges, and more.
