After months of rumors, Square Enix has finally revealed Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, a Final Fantasy spin-off from the creators of Nioh. What We Know About Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin
What is Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin?
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is the new Final Fantasy spin-off from Nioh developer Team Ninja. It was revealed during Square Enix's E3 2021 showcase, and features... you guessed it: "chaos". Look, we're going to be honest, this doesn't look too crash-hot. It seems a bit cheesy and obnoxious, but hey, we could be wrong. Take a look at this "chaos" filled trailer. Urgk.
What is the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Release Date?
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will release in 2022 on PC, PS4 & PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, its demo is currently available exclusively for PS5 users until June 24. Beware, though, as there seem to be quite a few major problems with the game's demo... actually, we'll talk about that now.
Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin PS5 Demo Details
A demo is currently available for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin on the PS5, and will remain available until June 24. To inflict even more damage on the game's poor reception at Square Enix's E3 2021 Showcase, the demo seems to be completely broken. Many players are complaining that the demo simply does not work, with the game displaying a "data is corrupted" error message. We will let you know when – if ever – this issue gets resolved, so that you can try out the Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin PS5 Demo for yourself.
Whether the game ends up a flop, or not, is still unknown. Of course. It's not going to be out for about a year. What we can say is that, just like the game's bizarre reveal trailer, its reception has been utter "chaos". In the same way, it's a nice idea to have a demo (something that there should surely be more of), but its shambolic state is also a little bit more "chaos" than Square Enix were probably expecting...
