The Elder Scrolls 6: Release Date Leak

The Elder Scrolls 6, the game that every Skyrim fan has been waiting for for nearly a decade now, might have just gotten a rough release date! Here is everything we know about it!

Can you believe that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim came out 10 years ago already? Yup. A decade old and it’s still one of the most played games… ever? Who can blame the fans? The Skyrim modding community might be one of the most active modding communities out there. GOOD FOR THEM. There can never be enough sex mods in this universe.

Anyways, you didn’t come here for The Elder Scrolls V, you came here for The Elder Scrolls 6.

So… what do you want first? The good or the bad news?

According to a known industry insider, Bethesda’s next project is to be Starfield. You might remember this game, since they announced that at the E3 2018 right before Skyrim... so yeah: after the TES 6 announcement, nobody cared about Starfield anymore.

ANYWAYS.

Here’s the good news.

The Elder Scrolls 6 is STILL coming.

And now time for the bad news.

It’s going to take at least 5 more years. If you do the maths, that's a 2026 release date.

But here’s the thing though:

We want gaming companies to take their time in developing their games right? And I know, me and everyone else says this time and time again, but nobody wants Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 ESPECIALLY not with a game like TES 6. We want this to be the BEST game possible and if that means that we have to wait another five-six years for it, maybe even longer? Then we’ll accept that…

Not like we have any other choice anyway...

It is obviously very important to say that these things can never be taken too seriously. Despite Tyler McVicker being an industry insider, as long as Bethesda hasn’t come out with an official statement, we can’t be sure of anything.

But then again… this is Bethesda. Even if they do come out with an official statement, we still can’t be sure of anything.

Y’all remember Fallout 76, right?
