The latest Elder Scrolls Online expansion Necrom will be released today. It will be an interesting day for all the fans of the game, who will be able to explore new regions, meet two new companions or experience a new raid for up to 12 players. But the biggest highlight is of course the new playable class: The Arcanist. It's the seventh playable class in The Elder Scrolls Online.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom | Everything You Need To Know

New Class: The Arcanist

The Arcanist is the first new class since 2019, so a lot of game veterans can't wait to get their hands on the expansion. The Arcanist class will be a very versatile one, offering the options to choose between different playstyles.

The players can go for more damage or defensive skills, or aim for a more supportive orientated role in-game. As the name of the class already says, the Arcanist will be able to use spells and magic for offensive, defensive or restorative purposes.

Two New Regions To Explore

Beside the new class, players will be able to explore the two new regions of the expansion. First, there is the Telvanni-Peninsular, which is located at the east cost of Morrowind. The region consists of towering mushroom-forests and is home of the City of the Dead, an ancient city that serves as a spiritual center for dark elves.

The second new region is the Deadric Realm of Apocrypha, a strange and deadly location, filled with dangers and adventures within the ESO universe.

Apocrypha houses the collected knowledge of the Prince of Fate, and all manner of native Daedra and knowledge-seeking mortals call it home.

Two New Companions And A Bunch Of New Collectables

Additionally, the expansion contains two new companions. The first is Azandar al-Cybiades, an arcanist Redguard with a lust for knowledge. So he's a great companion for players to see the new class in action.

The second is Sharp-As-Night, an Argonian warden, who works as a mercenary. Choosing him as your companion will activate a new questline, even tho it's unknown at which point he can join your party.

Also, the expansion will bring in new assets, new antiques, new titles and new challenges. Furthermore, new playing cards for the ingame card-game "Tales of Tribute" will be introduced.
