If you pre-order the Last of Us Part 2 Remastered before its official release on January 19, you will get a couple of additional in-game bonuses. Now that these rewards have been revealed, here are all The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered pre-order bonuses.
The Last of Us Part 2 is already being Remastered for PS5, despite being released only four years ago in 2020. But while it's easy to laugh at this, if you owned TLoU Part 2 on PS4, then you only need to pay for a $10 upgrade to get the Remastered version. Also, The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered is coming with more than just updated graphics; the game also comes with a brand-new mode called "No Return".
The pre-order bonuses have now been revealed on the PS Store for TLoU Part 2 Remastered, you can find every item below. Sadly, none of it looks very appealing.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Pre-Order Bonuses
Here are the rewards for pre-ordering:
- Ammo Capacity Upgrade
- Crafting Training Manual
You don't get these items immediately, instead you get them after unlocking a few essential things in-game first.
We don't know what the Ammo Capacity Upgrade is, but we can guess based on the name that it will extend the magazine size of a weapon you attach the upgrade to. As to the Crafting Training Manual, we think this will likely upgrade your crafting speeds in-game.
Neither of the rewards look incredible, but they certainly won't hurt your chances of success in No Return.
The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Purchase Error Explained
You might get this error when trying to pre-order: "you already own the following products which conflict with the product you're trying to buy: The Last of Us Part 2". The reason you are getting this error is because you have The Last of Us Part 2 in your library, and thus you are not allowed to buy the full price version, you can only purchase the cheaper, $10 upgrade. However, the $10 upgrade version of the game isn't available to buy until launch day.
You cannot pre-order the $10 upgrade version of the Remaster, but we currently understand that the pre-order bonuses are guaranteed with this version anyway.
Those were your pre-order bonuses. Personally, we wouldn't advise pre-ordering based on these rewards, not unless you know that you will 100% be buying the game anyway on the day it releases.
