Those who are looking for a little variety in the battle-royal genre after Fortnite, Apex Legends, or CoD: Warzone and are also into bloodsuckers can look forward to an exciting title next year. Developer Sharkmob has announced a new battle royale shooter in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe.
All towers in Fortnite are built, all bunkers in Warzone open. How about a little change in the Battle Royale genre? You can have it, and as a fan of the cult RPG Vampire: The Masquerade you can be doubly happy, or you know totally disappointed. A new Vampire Battle Royale is scheduled to come out in 2021.

Battle Royale Meets Vampire: The Masquerade
While the role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is still a long way off, developer Sharkmob has announced a new Battle Royale spin-off that is scheduled for release next year. The short teaser trailer does not yet provide concrete details, so we don't know much about the upcoming title yet except a few minor details. In the game, different vampire clans meet in the streets of Prague. The game can be played alone or in teams.
The so-called entity, which is supposed to hunt you down in the course of a round, could provide a breath of fresh air. This could be an AI-controlled figure, which is also on your tail. Supernatural powers, weapons, and special abilities are also available in the Vampire: The Masquerade Battle Royale shooter. The title, which does not yet have a final name, is scheduled for release in the second half of 2021.
There are just a couple of concerns regarding the new game. What exactly will it bring to the battle royale genre? Superpowers and special abilities are nothing new in the popular scene as Fortnite's current Marvel season proves. Then there's also the question of who'd want to play it? Fans of the VTM universe are interested in the lore, RPG, and choices - something the World of Darkness captivates with. A battle royale game will hardly have anything to do with that. In fact, there was already a multiplayer action game with vampires, but it was based on the Legacy of Kain universe (another popular vampire series). The game was called Nosgoth and its open beta kicked off 2015. A year later it was officially shut down on June 14, 2016. Let's hope the VTM spinoff won't follow the same fate.
