Let's get started with the free games coming to Xbox Game Pass in October, 2021...
What Games Will Be Free on Xbox Game Pass in October?
Phoenix Point
This turn-based strategy game will be jumping onto Xbox Game Pass for Console on October 1. That's pretty bloody soon, and the game boasts a pretty reasonable 74% on Metacritic from its PC release in 2019. Love it or hate it, Phoenix Point will be a pretty sweet addition to Game Pass, and will mark its move to consoles.
Back 4 Blood
Back 4 Blood is release, and will be released for Game Pass, on October 12. The game's Game Pass release will come to Console, PC, and the Cloud, and is huge news for fans of Left 4 Dead fans, who have been waiting for a sequel to 2009's Left 4 Dead 2. Our Podcast Editor and Co-host Faris has been raving about it ever since the Beta, and we can't wait to dive in.
Age of Empires IV
The highly anticipated Age of Empires IV will come to Xbox Game Pass on October 27. This is insanely exciting for fans of the hit real-time strategy series. Age of Empires IV seems to be a return to the Age of Empires II era, and the recent Beta went swimmingly. This will be a must-play if it turns out to be good. We will pray for that to be the case.
