After Capcom has been set up not once but twice, having PEGI and Steam revealing the release date of Dragon's Dogma 2, they've now officially revealed the not-so-surprising release date!
During the Dragon's Dogma 2 showcase, Capcom revealed detailed footage of Dragon's Dogma 2. They gave us a deeper look into the story, gameplay, possible pre-order editions and finally also revealed the official release date! Now we know for sure we'll be able to play Dragon's Dogma 2 on March 22, 2024! Thank you PEGI and Steam for ruining the surprise!
After Capcom's upcoming Action RPG Dragon's Dogma 2 got an age rating from the Pan European Game Information Board (PEGI), a little whoopsie happened at the company. Not only got the listing published too early, but it also has been revealing the official release date of the game. But that's not the end of the story!
Only a few days after PEGI messed things up for Capcom, another challenger entered the stage. This time around, it was Steam listing the game and the release date on the exact same date: Dragon's Dogma 2 will apparently release on March 22, 2024 – poor Capcom.

Dragon's Dogma 2 Release Date Accidentally Revealed By PEGI & Steam
The PEGI listing has quickly been taken down, probably because they realized their mistake in publishing it too early. News aggregator Wario 64 on Twitter/X captured the listing before it was taken down. But Steam was bold enough to keep the release date on their product page!

This leak confirms previous speculation that Dragon's Dogma 2 would release in early 2024 and with the official announcement the leaks were right. Capcom recently revealed plans to release a major title in early 2024, more concretely until the end of the fiscal year in March 2024, and it turns out they indeed talked about Dragon's Dogma 2.
