The new League of Legends champion is just around the corner, if we can believe the leakers.
Riot is going to be releasing a brand-new champion at the start of the 2024 LoL Season. This champion is going to be a cute bot laner and another creature champion. With 2023 not featuring any ADC champs, players are pretty hyped for this new baby dragon.
Now, leakers have revealed when the champion is supposedly going to be released onto Summoner's Rift and good news for all of you ADC mains, you won't have to wait long to play this brand-new champion!
LoL: New Dragon Champion To Come In Early 2024
According to the Twitter/X League of Leaks, the new dragon champion is going to be coming as early as LoL Patch 14.2. This would mean the champion is going to hit the PBE on January 9, 2024 and then be on live servers January 24, 2024.
This does make sense, since 2024 is the year of the dragon in the Lunar Calendar and well... this champion is going to be a dragon as well. We've already got our dragon-themed skins for early 2024 as well, so... we see the pattern, eh?

The Chinese New Year happens in early February, so having this dragon release before then would coincide with it as well and keep the pattern going. This could also mean that Skarner is closer than we might think, since his Visual and Gameplay release is going to come after the new bot laner.
For now though, we have to take this information with a grain of salt, since it is just leaks and anything can happen. Are you excited for this cute new creature champion in the bot lane?
