There are thousands of skins in League of Legends, and most of them re-imagine champions in completely different universes and worlds. There are only a few skin lines which are set in the canon universe, however, and while these skins aren't plentiful, they are pretty cool.

Leakers have revealed that these skins will make a comeback in 2024, but you might have to wait a while for them to be released.

LoL: New Canon Lore Skins Coming In 2024

According to League of Leaks on Twitter/X, there will be new lore skins coming in 2024. We all remember the Sentinels of Light skins, which elaborated on the ruination event going on in League of Legends, right? Well, it seems the narrative and skins team will be working together once more in 2024.

According to leakers, the upcoming lore skins will be released for the start of Arcane Season 2. When Arcane was first released, we received 4 free skins with the event, and it seems like Riot is going to be going down a similar route in 2024.

This time around, we're hoping for Arcane Viktor, Heimerdinger and Singed, but there are quite a lot of champions that could still make an appearance in the show who will also receive skins.

So, while we aren't getting a huge lore event for now, we will be getting some lore skins related to Arcane, which is also pretty exciting. Hopefully, Riot will make these skins free in 2024 as well. I remember the missions for the first set of Arcane skins getting my friends and I to log in on the specified dates to play some LoL and earn those skins.

Arcane Season 2 is set to be released in November 2024, so we have to be a bit more patient for these new lore skins to be coming to our LoL-clients.
