The exciting 1-month action of LoL Worlds 2023 has reached its peak with T1 facing off against Weibo Gaming. T1 had to make it through the LPL gauntlet throughout the World Champinoship to take home the Summoner's Cup.

Going into the Finals, T1 only had to beat one final LPL team. Already having taken down BLG during the Swiss Stage, LNG and JDG in the playoffs and finally, WBG.

The first and second game were won on the back of the youngest member Choi "Zeus" Woo-je who had been critizised previously for his weak play in other finals. But it seems that the gold medal at the Asian Games helped him regain his confidence to carry T1.

This is the tenth year of Faker as a professional player, with him making his sixth World Championship final and reaching new heights by winning his forth World Championship.

Now, T1 are the World Champions, with the team winning in dramatic fashion, dismantling Weibo Gaming in 3-matches without a single loss. It was a dominant victory for the home team.

Whether T1 stays together next year is yet to be determined. Zeus, Gumayusi and Keria will all have their contracts expire at the end of the year, so it'll be interesting to see whether the team stays together.
