We all know Netflix as a streaming platform has plenty of movies and shows to watch, but for subscribers there's also a huge plethora of games to choose from. Now they have announced that hit game Hades will soon be part of that collection. But there's a catch.
Many users of the platform probably don't even know, but Netflix offers quite a bit of games as part of the subscription. You can easily check which games are available on your phone because all those games are actual mobile games.
Netflix is working on improving this game section as well because as of early 2024, they want to get the highly rated steam game Hades into the app.
Hades Coming To Netflix Gaming
In Hades, you don't control Hades himself but his son Zagreus. You fight your way through the underworld to see your mother again. During this you fight different mythological creatures, collect powerful power-ups and meet a lot of friendly and not so friendly gods.
But you got to be careful because once you die, you start over from the start. To increase your odds, you get a special currency that allows you to buff your character permanently.
Hades is a great game and one of the best rogue-like action games ever, so Netflix getting this deal is great! But there's a catch. Netflix will only offer you the game if you subscribe to the platform AND you own an iOS-device. Android users get nothing.
But not all is grim for android enthusiasts. Netflix is working to upgrade their game options and with titles like Braid Anniversary Edition and Death's Door coming soon, you will definitely find something to enjoy.
