PS Plus Essential Games: December 2023 Lineup

Lego 2K Drive (PS4, PS5)
A fun arcade racer made by 2K Sports with the Lego license? What a delicious combination, and Lego 2K Drive absolutely delivered on some of that promise. The game can be roughly described as a mixture of Forza Horizon and Mario Kart, with crazy customization options reminiscent of actually playing with Lego.
While the game definitely has some shortcomings, it's worth a look for anyone who is into arcade racers. It's free, after all!
Powerwash Simulator (PS5/PS4)
Is there anything more powerful than a high-pressure power washer? The answer is no, and nothing demonstrates that more impressively than Powerwash Simulator. The game allows players to take on cleaning tasks in different locations, such as houses, vehicles, and more, using a variety of increasingly more powerful washing equipment.
What still sounds like a joke of a game has become a bit of a sensation, garnering great popularity for its relaxing and satisfying gameplay, as players work to remove dirt, grime, and stains from surfaces. Believe me, it's a million times more fun than it sounds.
Sable (PS5)
Sable is a super unique, wonderful adventure game. It features a big, exciting Sci-Fi world, which players traverse as the titular hero, who is on a rite-of-passage journey to find her place in her native tribe.
This is a really good adventure game, with exciting exploration and rewarding puzzle solving. What it is truly extraordinary in, is vibes. Gliding through the desert, illustrated in this gorgeous, Moebius-inspired art while the soundtrack by Japanese Breakfast is swirling in the background. To die for.

When Will The Next PS Plus Essential Games Be Revealed?
The upcoming PS Plus Essential games are usually revealed on the last Wednesday of the month. So, expect to get the official announcement for the PS Plus January 2024 Essential games on December 27. You can always expect the lineup to be revealed around 4:30 pm BST / 5:30 pm CEST / 0:30 am PST / 11:30 am EST.

The new Essential lineup is downloadable from Tuesday, December 5 on until Monday, January 1, 2024.
