In THE FINALS, crossplay is thankfully included so that you can play with your friends, no matter what platforms y'all are on. In this article, we'll show you everything you need to know about the crossplay implementation in this game.
THE FINALS is a new FPS Shooter by the devs of Embark Studios and while it only had a couple of betas so-far, players seem to be really excited about it. Since the start of the open beta on October 27, the player count almost reached 265,000 concurrent players on Steam.
In the fast-paced, team-oriented world of THE FINALS, where competition is intense and teamwork is key, it's only natural that you'd want to play with your friends, no matter what platform any of you are on. Thankfully, THE FINALS offers crossplay between PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S!
THE FINALS Crossplay Is Enabled From The Start
The crossplay feature is enabled by default in THE FINALS. While this is generally a beloved feature, there are also a lot of players who prefer to focus on their respective platform. Thankfully, you're able to turn it off in the settings menu.
Unfortunately, there's a bug for PC players that stops you from turning off the crossplay feature. However, Embark Studios already addressed the issue and is working on a solution.
In order to play with your friends on different platforms, you need your Embark ID ready. By pressing the "add friends" button, you can enter the ID, add them to your list and play together, have fun!
