The open-world action game Ghost of Tsushima is the last major exclusive title for PlayStation 4 – and the story of one of Japan's last samurai is a masterpiece! Legends is adding new layers to that incredible story.
In Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, you no longer follow the tale of Jin and his companions. Instead, you can take on the role of four legends with up to four players. So, it's a separate mode, playing in the same world. Ghost of Tsushima: Legends features fantastic locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology. It also focuses on co-op battles and action. Teamwork, teamwork, teamwork!

Free to Play If...
...you already own the main game! Jin's story already inspired you and you're the lucky owner of Ghost of Tsushima? Well, then Legends will be available to you as a free download this fall.
And we think it's going to be great. Sucker Punch seem to have prepared a lot of content for you! If you're traveling in a team, you'll be able to play a series of missions that are becoming increasingly difficult and require perfect coordination with your mates.
If there are four of you, you can face waves of enemies made up of the toughest chunks of Tsushima. Among them are the new Oni opponents with supernatural abilities.
The developer also announced some more things to be happy to wait for:
If you can best the Story and Survival missions, you may be confident enough to take on the four-player Raid that will arrive shortly after the launch of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, sending you and your partners to an entirely new realm to challenge a brutal, terrifying enemy."
The Legends
Of course, you are not just samurai – after all, we are talking about Ghost of Tsushima. You are true legends and masters of your martial arts. For the new co-op mode, you can choose from four classes:
- Samurai
- Hunters
- Rōnin
- Assasine
Each class has unique abilities and brings benefits that are not yet widely known. Speaking of not-yet-known, as soon as we know exactly when Legends will be released, we will let you know first.
