Can you play Lego Fortnite on splitscreen? Fortnite itself has long been known for having a very large console community. That's why Epic introduced the splitscreen mode for Fortnite. But what about Lego Fortnite?
Fortnite has a massive community on consoles – whether on PlayStation, Xbox, or even the Nintendo Switch. Since consoles are typically connected somewhere in the living room in front of the TV, they are perfect for cozy co-op action.
Therefore, Fortnite Battle Royale can also be played in splitscreen mode. But now, players are wondering if it's possible to play Lego Fortnite Open World Mode in splitscreen. After all, the mode is most fun with friends and family, making a splitscreen mode a perfect fit.
Can You Play Lego Fortnite In Splitscreen Mode?
As cool as it would be, unfortunately, we have to disappoint you. You cannot play Lego Fortnite in splitscreen mode. While it's possible to roam around in a world with up to 8 friends and experience adventures together, each player needs their own PC or console with an internet connection for that.
There is at least one small consolation: Fortunately, Fortnite has full crossplay support (even in Lego mode), which means that you can play together on different platforms, regardless of whether you're playing on PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch. If you own a Switch, you can at least indirectly play couch co-op with your buddy, as the Nintendo console is portable and has its own screen. So you can simply play Fortnite on the Switch screen while your buddy plays next to you on the TV screen at the same time.
It is, of course, possible that Epic Games might introduce a splitscreen mode for Lego Fortnite in the future, but nothing of the sort has been officially confirmed yet.
We can only wait, have some tea, and hope because a cozy evening for two in the world of Lego Fortnite would indeed be something beautiful...
