Midas Vending Machines and Service Stations are now in Fortnite with the new patch being live. But they don't just give you a drum gun, they got a new OP mechanic!
Fortnite Midas Vending Machines Explained
The new Midas Vending Machines were introduced with Patch v29.01. They sell the new Drum Gun in 3 different rarities:
- The Rare Drum Gun costs 200 gold bars
- The Epic Drum Gun costs 300 gold bars
- The Legendary Drum Gun costs 400 gold bars
Additionally, Midas can also be found on the Yacht in the west of the map, where he also sells you the Drum Gun.
Fortnite Midas Vending Machine Locations
The Midas Vending Machines are spread throughout the entire Fortnite map, but most machines are located in the Reckles Railways POI.
Fortnite Midas Service Stations Explained
In addition to the new vending machines, there are also new Midas Service Stations. They not only offer heal and rifts for sale but even weapon upgrades! This means that you can upgrade any weapon to its legendary tier for 500 gold. Additionally, the weapon will turn gold, just like we know it from the Midas skin.
Fortnite Midas Service Station Locations
The Midas Service Stations are not as common on the Fortnite map as the Vending Machines, but they are represented at almost every major location at least once. Don't forget to collect enough gold bars when upgrading your weapons, otherwise, we wish you lots of fun!
