Our best class to choose in the Tarisland guide explains each class in detail while listing the best ones.
Hopped into Tarisland, and got into the server but don't know, which Class to pick as your starting Class in the game? Do not worry! We have got you covered. In this guide, we give a basic overview of all nine Classes in Tarisland while recommending the best starting Class for different Roles and playstyles.
Tarisland All Classes Explained
Here are all the nine Classes and a brief overview of them in Tarisland:
Mage
The Mage is one of the best, if not the best, DPS units in Tarisland. It can control the battlefield with its wide range of attacks, making it suitable for mob farming through AoE damage, clearing PvE activities, and PvP.
Specialization
- Frost - Ranged Damage Dealer
- Tailored towards dealing high damage along with slowing down enemies
- Fire - Ranged Damage Dealer
- Tailored towards raw DPS output
Ranger
Need a high damage dealer for solo playthrough? The Ranger is the best Class for you. The Ranger's abilities are tailored towards moving swiftly around the battlefield and dealing high damage.
Moreover, for players looking for a Class with companions, the Ranger is your pick.
Specialization
- Tamed Beast - Ranged DPS
- Hunting - Ranged DPS
Bard
The Bard is one of the best Classes for both PvP and PvE in Tarisland. His solo specialization makes him a Ranged Damage dealer, and his Harmony Specialization makes him a great Healer for single healing.
Specialization
- Solo - Ranged Damage
- Harmony - Ranged Healer
Warrior
That Warrior is a Tank Class in Tarisland that is suited for players who want to deal decent damage and control the battlefield with AoE attacks while being the vanguard of their team.
While the Warrior is not the best Tank Class in the game, it is still decent and becomes good in the end game, considering both PvE and PvP.
Based on the Specialization you choose, you can either lean the Class towards being a pure Tank or a Damage Dealer.
Specialization
- Rage - Melee Damage Dealer
- War Shield - Melee Tank
Paladin
Thanks to his abilities, especially self-healing, the paladin is the ideal tank class in Tarisland. If you are looking forward to playing a Tank Class but don't care much about extreme DPS and instead want to take on enemies head-on, the Paladin is the best Class for you.
Specialization
- Justice - Melee Damage
- Guard - Melee Tank
Priest
As the name suggests, the Priest is a Healer Class in Tarisland and your go to choice if you play as a Support character. The Pray Specialization is best for PvP and PvE healing as it's done in an AoE, healing multiple players at once.
The Priest can also work as a sub-DPS unit if you choose the Faith specialization. However, the damage is abysmal compared to DPS-based Classes.
Specialization
- Faith - Ranged Damage
- Pray - Ranged Healer
Barbarian
Similar to the Warrior Class, the Barbarian is suited for both Tank and Damage Dealer roles, thanks to its Specializations. The Thunder Barbarian is an all-rounder with a good shield, great damage, and other such attributes, allowing you to own the battlefield.
Meanwhile, the Frozen Barbarian Fighter is a pure Tank and provides allies with buffs and such things.
Specialization
- Thunder - Melee Damage Dealer
- Frozen - Melee Tank
Phantom Necro
The Phantom Necro is a fun Class to play, especially if you want to deal Magic damage to enemies, mitigate damage to your party by linking their souls, allowing your party to steal HP from the enemy and such things.
Specialization
- Soul Snatch - Ranged Damage Dealer
- Soul Healing - Ranged Healer
Shadow Swordsman
If you are looking for an Assassin Class that unleashes a flurry of attacks on your enemies that deal moderate to high damage or inflict status like Poison, the Shadow Swordsman is the best pick for you.
An S-tier DPS unit that we would recommend for players looking to fill the DPS role in their team.
Specialization
- Cunning - Melee Damage Dealer
- Duel - Melee Damage Dealer
Which Class Should You Choose In Tarisland
In my Tarisland Class tier list, I suggested three classes to players for their first playthrough. These are:
- Mage
- Ranger
- Bard
But I also mentioned that it is fine to go with the Class that you find the most fun to use. That being said, if you still finding it hard to make the decision, I would suggest going for the Mage Class for players looking for Ranged DPS.
The Ranger is for players looking for a Solo playthrough. Priest Class for players looking to fill the Support role and for AoE heals. The Warrior Fighter Class is for players looking for a mix of crowd control, DPS and Tank.
But for players looking to fill only the Tank role, the Paladin is a good choice. Lastly, for Flashy gameplay and melee combat with a very DPS output, I recommend choosing Shadow Swordsman.
