It's been all over the internet: Quiet on Set, the documentary about the horrific circumstances child stars had to endure at Nickelodeon. Here's how and where to watch it.
Rumors have been around for quite some time and if you ever went down the rabbit hole surrounding Dan Schneider and Nickelodeon, you're probably familiar with the accusations: horrible treatment on set, absolutely inappropriate behavior towards minors and now, even worse, sexual abuse.
Dan Schneider is the mind behind beloved Nickelodeon shows from the 90s and early 2000s like Zoey 101, Drake & Josh and The Amanda Show.
Trigger warning: the documentary is hard to stomach for some people and might be triggering. Only watch if you're positive you can handle the themes. Drake Bell shares his story of sexual abuse in episode 3.
Where And How To Watch Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV
The documentary Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV has been released on Max and is streamable with a subscription to the service for 9.99$/month.
You can also purchase the documentary on AppleTV+ or right here on Amazon Prime Video. On Investigation Discovery's official YouTube channel, you'll also find some short scenes.
Depending on your location, Quiet on Set might not be available in your region. You can navigate around that with the help of a VPN-service.
Dan Schneider has since released a video talking about the situation. Best to watch it with your bullsh*t detector activated, though. The interview is literally led by a former employee of Schneider's and you won't get the hard hitting questions answered about some pressing matters. Instead, he gives some half-baked apologies decades too late after it apparently hit him that asking for neck massages on set isn't appropriate. Go figure.
