For as long as I can remember, I have been mesmerized by the art of storytelling. Whether it's in books, TV shows or video games, I have always loved to get lost in new worlds, exploring them myself with a controller in hand or letting myself be completely swept up by authors and showrunners. The Last of Us is the pinnacle of good storytelling in my book, both the game and show, but I also have a deep-rooted love for Zelda games, sitcoms and the occasional romantic comedy.
That's why I ended up getting my degree in media studies and writing for EarlyGame. Analyzing every single creative choice in media, may it be storytelling, character motivation or even camera angles is something I enjoy doing and obsessing over, so making that my job and sharing my passion with others seemed like a smart life choice. Having a professional reason to watch every show under the sun and spending all my free time on streaming services doesn't hurt, either.
