League of Legends is going all-in on their Netflix series Arcane with new skins. Are you guys excited?
Thanks to the upcoming TFT Set Gizmos and Gadgets, we might have already caught glimpses of upcoming League of Legends skins. We’ve had Freljord Taliyah and Bilgewater Katarina, but now, we might be getting Arcane skins as well.
Through the reveal of the newest TFT set, which is going to go live in LoL Patch 11.22, fans have been gifted with a potential leak of new skins for League of Legends as well.
Which Champions Will Get Arcane Skins?
It seems that four champions might be getting skins relating to the Netflix series. Not only have we gotten a glimpse of their new skins in-game through the TFT reveal, but splash arts have also been revealed by the official League of Legends twitter.
These splash arts show off the champions in their new looks given to them in Arcane, which is just another indicator that Arcane skins are heading to Summoner’s Rift as well.
These are the champions with Arcane skins:
- Caitlyn
- Jayce
- Jinx
- Vi

Caitlyn’s model will also be receiving a visual makeover, while the other champions are being kept the same. The Caitlyn visual change was teased in TFT as well and recently Riot confirmed that they’re working on new visual updates which aren’t as expansive as VFX updates.
How Much Will the Arcane Skins Cost?
The price is currently unknown, but it seems that there is something a little extra in store for fans. Maybe we're getting a whole event in the client once again where players are able to earn these skins?
In the tweets showing Arcane Vi and Arcane Jayce, it is written that fans should 'stay tuned to find out how to earn these skins'... this could indicate that, like the Unbound Thresh skin, these skins can be obtained without spending cash.
When Will the Arcane Skins be Released?
The TFT Patch 11.22 will go live on November 3rd, three days before the premiere of Arcane. We believe that if these skins are also coming to Summoner’s Rift it would be on the same patch. This means that Vi, Jayce, Jinx and Caitlyn might be receiving new skins in LoL Patch 11.22.
Whether the Caitlyn visual update will also go live then is still unknown though.
