Team Vitality couldn't live up to the expectations this season. Now fans are discussing the future of the current roster. The outlook doesn't look bright for the players to say the least.
The season of Team Vitality is in shambles. The "super team" ranks dead last in the LEC at the moment and has one last chance to turn things around – but let's be real...
Nevertheless, LoL esport fans all around Europe are already playing Esport Manager and discussing the future of the roster. And it's not looking good for the current players.

Fans Discuss Future of Current Vitality Roster
That we won't see the roster in their current state is expected by everyone. Too high were the ambitions of the franchise and the team, and too far they have fallen. During Week 3 Vitality already played with their academy Jungler Kacper "Daglas" Dagiel, after the org benched Yang-Bo "Bo" Zhou. The results were the same.
Vitality lost against Team BDS and KOI. Both of their opponents were also ranked pretty low this season. So there is the rightful question how Vitality is going to react. That the roster needs a change is obvious to everyone. In a popular thread, titled "So what's next for Vitality", on the League of Legends Subreddit, several users are already discussing the future lineup.
So what's next for Vitality? by u/Matt24z in leagueoflegends
User "Matt245z" opened this discussion by sharing his opinion on the situation of the roster and potential future moves:
Kind of insane that this roster's run is already over this year. I think it's safe to say the Org is going to completely blow up the entire roster next year like EG did for Summer. They might ask Photon to stay, but I think he might just leave. He looks beyond pissed and I think he might just walk away from VIT and never look back. What do you think?
It's safe to say that many users share his views, even if their reasons are slightly different. For example, the user "Greenplasma000" is seeing a deeper problem than just the players: "I hope for the players they find a different team next year because something in this org is fundamentally broken"
User "Cocoperroquet" shares his opinion, even taking a look at the org in general:
The worse in this is that it's specifically the LoL section. On Rocket League and CS GO Vitality have functioning top teams. Idk who run the LoL section but they are failing across the board in both league they're in.
A controversial figure within the discussion is star player and fan favorite Luka "Perkz" Perković, who has been one of the best and most talented players in the last couple of years. Some users like "Hatchie_47" are voting to build one more team around Perkz (even tho it might be with a hint of irony) :
Ask Perkz which 4 superstars he wants to play withPay whatever is the asking priceHype up a super team that will certainly dominate LEC next year
Others, like the user "Randomname256478425", are seeing Perkz as a vital part of Vitality's failings and vote for a mid-lane change: "Would be better to start by Asking Perkz to take the door. Then ask the coach the player he wants. But what do I know!"
LEC Vitality Roster: Conclusion
As pointed out by some fans, the problems and failings of the Team Vitality LoL team might be lying deeper than just with the roster. However, the current team won't have a future and the restructure should happen as fast as possible. Team Vitality cannot aspire to be last place in the LEC.
The question is who could be a fitting player to improve the team, with Perkz, ADC Elias "upset" Lipp, jungler Oskar "Selfmade" Boderek, support Norman "Kaiser" Kaiser and top laner Gyutae "Photon" Kyung the team already has some of the best players on their position in the team.
From an in-game "mechanical" point of view, it will be hard to find more talented players than these guys, but it's obvious that they don't function and play as a team.
So, the future of Vitality will be an interesting one and a lot of changes can be expected. This means that the game against Excel could be the last one for this roster combination.
