Earlier this year Carlos "Ocelote" Rodríguez posted a video of himself partying with Andrew Tate. Saying it went viral was putting it lightly. That video has cost him everything, but now, months later, he doubles down on his relationship with Tate, which could mean a return to esports is unlikely.
The story is nothing new. Former G2 Esports CEO, Carlos "Ocelote" Rodríguez, lost his team due to one unsavory video and his reaction to being called out for it. So now, months later, has anything changed? Not at all, if anything Carlos has doubled down on his admiration for the misogynistic social media personality.
These latest statements seem like the final nails in the coffin, as a return to the esports scene seem unlikely for the former G2 Esports co-owner. Something he has explained as well via social media.
Former G2 Owner Re-Iterates Support For Andrew Tate
Since leaving G2 Esports, Carlos has opened up a Discord and screenshots from said Discord have shown what this man truly thinks of Andrew Tate and his views – which as we all know are pretty misogynistic and homophobic.
I heavily support Andrew Tate and many of his beliefs. He’s a good man who deserves all the good that he’s experiencing. I have met many people in my life. He is without a doubt one of the best men I’ve dealt with in 32 years of life. He is exactly the type of man you believe he is.
cant cancel me twice bitchill say it again louder for the people in the back@Cobratate is the fucking man https://t.co/EShv3RKxtm

This screenshot was posted on Twitter with the user calling on everyone to cancel Carlos, to which he simply replied that he cannot be cancelled twice and adding on that "[Andrew Tate] is the fucking man".
This tweet comes shortly after Carlos also explained that he won't be returning to G2 Esports and with the screenshots of his Discord coming to light, it seems like G2 Esports wouldn't want him to return either...
Due to Carlos' initial handling of the Tate situation back in September 2022, he was suspended by Riot and made to undergo sensitivity training if he wanted to return to the Riot esports ecosystem. These screenshots show that even if he did participate in said training, it clearly didn't do much and is another sign why he likely won't be a part of any future esports endeavour.
