T1 and trucks, name a better duo. T1 is probably the most well-known League of Legends team in the entire world, having won three World Championships, as well as countless LCK titles.

Unfortunately, that also comes with quite high expectations, from the fans and the LoL community and when those expectations aren't met, well the T1 fans sure know how to let their opinions be shown. One of their favourite ways is to send trucks to T1 headquarters, which was done after their 3-0 loss to Gen.G in the LCK Summer finals.

LoL: Protest Truck Sent To T1 Headquarters

T1 fans are some of the most passionate in the LoL esports world and they show it. After the 3-0 loss to Gen.G, some of the more hardcore fans decided to send a protest truck to the T1 headquarters, calling out one specific player they felt played subpar.

When T1 and Gen.G took the stage in the finals, most people thought it would be an epic re-match of their previous upper bracket game in the playoffs, but instead they witnessed a stomp.

It seemed like Gen.G had T1's number from the get-go. Most fans also felt that T1 bot laner Lee "Gumayusi" Min-hyeong was not playing even close to the level of the opposing bot laner Kim "Peyz" Su-hwan.

Gumayusi's play in the final series prompted some fans to send a truck to T1 headquarters, calling out the player, stating, "hope the player's trash talks are as aggressive as their damage/gold" and also adding on, "all champions you play except Xayah are as effective as a toothpick".

League of Legends content creator and former LoL caster Nick "LS" De Cesare called out the "fans" who sent these trucks, calling them "disturbing individuals" and "clowns".

Other fans also believe that T1 was just outdrafted in the final series, especially with Gen.G pulling out picks like Camille, K'Sante in the mid lane and Nilah against T1 who had no answers.

Before both teams head off to the 2023 League of Legends World Championship, players from both T1 and Gen.G will come together at the Asian Games in Hangzhou China, representing the Republic of South Korea.
