LoL Patch 13.9: Sivir Finally Receives Much-Needed Update

Sivir is one of the most iconic champions in League of Legends and in LoL Patch 13.9 she is getting a key quality of life update we didn't ask for, but definitely needed.

Sivir is going to be getting a slight update in League of Legends Patch 13.9. It's not a balance update, but a small quality of life change that will improve the way people look at the character... literally.

Sivir will be receiving a brand-new splash art in the upcoming patch and will finally cure her of her awful back pain that she's been dealing with since her release. For some reason Riot always gave her some of the oddest poses in her splash arts.

LoL Patch 13.9: Meme No More - Riot Fixes Sivir's Posture

For the longest time players have been meme-ing Sivir's splash art stating that she has some huge buck-teeth, as well as horrible posture... which let's be real is kind of true. But in LoL Patch 13.9, Riot will fix this with a brand-new splash art for the bot laner.

As we can see in the new splash art she is standing upright and proud, with insane details. The armor on her hips, as well as muscles on her arms really stand out, with the dark shadows of the Shuriman desert making her stand out and the main focus of the art.

Fans on Reddit seem especially happy with this change, one user writing, "spine fixed, no more buck teeth. Girl had a glow-up." Others also made jokes and reference to her previous splash art.

Riot has slowly been going back to older, outdated splash arts and reworked them. Not too long ago they also revamped the Rugged Garen splash art for the champion.

Now we just have to hope that Cassiopeia can receive some love as well in the splash art department, because some of her skins just look awful.
