After a disappointing 2023 season for the reigning League of Legends EMEA champions, KOI, many rumors have emerged that suggest the team will see a big rebuild this off-season. However, the first substantial rumor actually implies the total opposite – the Spanish organization is looking to keep Larssen for a lot longer.
Larssen is here to stay! Despite a difficult first season under the KOI name, it seems like the Spanish organization wants to commit to mid laner Emil 'Larssen' Larsson for many years to come. This was reported by blix.gg.

If the rumors are true, Larssen is set to remain with his current team until the end of the 2027 season. The organization, owned by Spanish content creator Ibai Llanos and his fellow countryman and football legend Gerard Piquet, is expected to rebuild their roster around the mid laner.
Larssen To Stay With KOI Until 2027 – Who Else Will Join Him On The Way Back To The Top?
It is yet unclear who will join Larssen on KOI's starting roster in the 2024 season. At this time, there are no rumors suggesting that any of the players will be replaced, although there is also no indicator that they will be staying with the team.
Larssen first joined the organisation under the name Rogue ahead of the 2019 season. After a split as their academy team's mid laner, he was promoted to the main team for the 2019 summer split. After many strong splits, he managed to crown his career so far with the title of LEC champion in the 2022 summer split. At 23 years of age, he will most likely have many years left in the tank.
KOI first joined the LEC ahead of the 2023 season when they purchased a majority stake in Rogue. After a strong winter split with a third place finish, they were unable to retain their results and ended up missing the season finals as the seventh best LEC team in all of 2023.
