With the start of Season 14, we also got tons of new items, including for assassins. Voltaic Cyclosword is one of them and joins the Energized arsenal in the Summoner's Rift.
LoL: Voltaic Cyclosword – Build & Stats
Voltaic Cyclosword costs 2,900 gold and is therefore a legendary item. This item grants you every stat an assassin could wish for, including Attack Damage, Lethality and Ability Haste. On top of that, it has 2 Passives:
Galvanize and Firmament. Galvanize will let you stack Energized 75% faster with dashes and stealth, which works perfectly for AD assassins. Firmament, however, is the actual cool Passive of the item, dealing 100 bonus Physical Damage and slowing by 99% for 0.75% if you're playing a melee champ.
To build Voltaic Cyclosword, you'll need the following items:
- The Brutalizer (items + 212 gold)
- Glowing Mote (250 gold)
- Pickaxe (875 gold)
- Kircheis Shard (item + 350 gold)
- Long Sword (350 gold)
- 863 gold
Champions That Should Build Voltaic Cyclosword
Champions that really shine with Voltaic Cyclosword are Bel'Veth and Graves. While, you usually don't go Voltaic Cyclosword first, as a second or third item option, it can really help you out to stick to your opponent due to your slow on your Passive. And to take it up a notch, both are dashy champs that can charge up the item way faster than others.
Later on in the game, also other dashy or fast assassins or even ADC's can pick this item up if you got squishy enemies. Miss Fortune, Kalista, as well as Qiyana or Rengar are some examples.
