Naafiri is the newest champion in League of Legends and one of the devs recently revealed just how large this canine is in canon.
Naafiri is the next League of Legends champion. Her kit recently got revealed and she looks incredible. For the first time in years we're finally getting a new creature champion and an 'easy to play' mid lane assassin.
But one thing that was also recently revealed is the fact that she is actually much bigger than her in-game model might make you believe. One of the devs went to Twitter to reveal just how large Naafiri, the hound of a hundred bites, truly is.
LoL: How Tall Is Naafiri Really?
Naafiri is a hound of some kind from the Shuriman desert, which would have some players thinking that she's going to be the shortest of all the Darkin on Summoner's Rift, but if you thought that, then you're going to be mistaken.

The biggest Darkin in League of Legends is Aatrox who is said to be around 22 feet. When he uses his ultimate, that size becomes even larger, making him the biggest of all the Darkin.
On the other hand, Varus is normal human sized. Some might even call him short at 5'7. So, where exactly does Naafiri fit into all of this?

Well, even though she is inspired by desert hounds, which are on the small side, Naafiri is actually over 7 feet tall, according to Riot Raptorr.

Unfortunately, this sheer size does not come across with her in-game model. Of course, in a game like League of Legends it's hard to make the champions look like their canon sizes from the lore, but a bit of a larger dog would have been nice.
Who Are The Biggest Champions In League of Legends Lore?
There are quite a few large champions in the game of League of Legends like Cho'Gath or Zac, who can grow bigger as the game progresses, but there are some champions that are just way bigger in the lore than can be visually represented on Summoner's Rift.

- Ornn: Ornn is a legendary demigod blacksmith associated with the Freljord region. While his size is not explicitly mentioned, he is described as towering over normal humans and possessing incredible strength.
- Anivia: Anivia is an ancient and majestic cryophoenix. Although her size is not explicitly stated, she is described as a giant bird of ice and snow, capable of causing blizzards and freezing entire landscapes.
- Nautilus: Nautilus is a massive titan who was once a sailor consumed by the depths of the ocean. He wears a colossal suit of armor and carries a massive anchor, evoking his immense size and strength.
- Malphite: Malphite, the Shard of the Monolith, is an elemental being formed from living stone. While his size can vary, he is often depicted as a colossal mountain-like creature, symbolizing the raw power of the earth.
Naafiri isn't close to any of these monsters in size, but she is a pretty big champion, especially with how many humans or humanoid champions we have in League of Legends.
