It’s time once more to go over the highlights of LoL Patch 11.20. The previous two patches focused heavily on the pro scene due to the 2021 World Championship. As we’re heading into the final stretches of Season 11, we’re going to be seeing a lot more solo queue favored changes.
Which champions had the biggest changes? Well, let’s take a look at some bigger buffs and nerfs of LoL Patch 11.20, so you’re ready once you log into League of Legends later today after work.

Taliyah Jungle Nerfed in LoL Patch 11.20
Taliyah in the jungle had one of the highest win rates in LoL Patch 11.19, which means she was in need of a nerf in that department. No other jungler could compare to her, which is why Riot has decided to nerf the Stoneweaver.
- Taliyah isn't the only champion with a high win rate in LoL Patch 11.19! Check out the 5 champions with the highest win rates!
Taliyah's damage to monsters from subsequent stones has been lowered from 80% to 75%. Will this keep her grounded, or will she continue to weave through the jungle with ease even in LoL Patch 11.20?
Amumu Q Nerfed in LoL Patch 11.20
Who didn’t see this one coming? Amumu has been running amok in the bot lane. No one could hold this sad mummy back. Amumu had a win rate of 54% by the end of LoL Patch 11.19 and a ban rate of almost 60%. Seriously, this pick is just OP.
Therefore, Riot has decided they’ve had enough of the mummy and his Q was taken under the microscope. His Q damage has now been lowered. Not only that, but the mana cost was changed to flat out 70 on all levels. Riot clearly doesn’t want him to have any friends.

Jungle Changes in LoL Patch 11.20
Since we’ve been on the topic of junglers this entire LoL Patch 11.20 highlights article, let’s stay there and see what exactly Riot has done to smite this patch. The Riot balance team believes that the smite heal is a little too OP and are nerfing the summoner spell to heal 10% of max health instead of 15%.
- Have you wondered who our EarlyGame Top 8 Teams at the 2021 World Championship are?
To compensate for this change, they’ve also adjusted various jungle monsters, though. The Gromp and the Krugs base AD has been lowered slightly to make up for the change. Riot really won’t leave the jungle alone in Season 11, eh?
Bewitching Skins Released in LoL Patch 11.20
Now, on to our favorite Patch Highlights segment – the skins. Since it’s October and close to Halloween, we have to receive some spooky skins, right? Well, instead of getting Death Sworn or Zombie skins, players will be able to pick up new Bewitching skins.
Which Champions Are Receiving Skins in LoL Patch 11.20?
- Bewitching Fiora
- Bewitching Nami
- Bewitching Yuumi
- Bewitching Poppy
- Bewitching Syndra
Morgana is also going to have her previous Bewitching skin be re-released as a prestige skin.
Syndra is also going to be receiving a VFX update – her first since her release in 2012 – but that is still ways away and is currently being tested on PBE. But we know that nothing will change for her Bewitching Skin with the update.
