The chemtech drake is no more, Zeri has been released, and we’re already thinking about the next champion that is going to hit summoner’s rift. But what other changes has Riot planned? Well let’s not look too far ahead and see what is new in LoL Patch 12.03.
We know that Ahri will be getting a visual update already, but there are quite a lot of other changes that will affect your games in the coming patch. So sit back, pop open a cold one and go through the early LoL patch 12.03 notes with us.

System Adjustments in LoL Patch 12.03
Let us start off with the big fish which is the system adjustment list this time around. In a tweet, Riot Phlox stated that this patch will focus on adjusting the fighter system to be less health skewed. What that means exactly will be revealed soon.

Champion Nerfs in LoL Patch 12.03
There are quite a few champions on the nerf list this patch as well. Did anyone even expect Zeri not to get a nerf after she’s been popping off on the rift right after her debut? Hardly. She isn’t the only champion on the list though.

This is probably the shortest list of all the changes being made in this patch. Two champions are being buffed. Does this mean that every other champion is balanced right now? Or are there just way too many overpowered champions and these two are the only ones struggling?

Now let’s move on to the champion adjustments. We’ve already touched upon the Ahri changes that will hit the rift quite soon, but one more champion will also be getting adjusted in this patch. Ahri isn’t the only one with a few bigger changes coming her way.

Killing minions and monsters grants Ahri an essence fragment, after obtaining 9 fragments, Ahri consumes them to heal 40-120 (+25%AP). When Ahri scores a takedown against an enemy champion within 3 seconds of damaging them, she feasts upon their essence healing for 80-200 (+35%AP)
Q - Orb of Deception
Mana cost increased 60-100
W - Fox Fire
Damage increased and mana cost decreased. Flame duration and movement speed duration increased and an update to the visuals of the ability.
E - Charm
Damage increased to 80-200(+60%AP) and mana cost lowered. The 20% damage amp on target has been removed.
R - Spirit Rush
15 second duration instead of 10. Also, consuming a champion's essence with her passive while spirit rush is active, extends its recast duration by up to 10s. The visuals have also been updated.
Nami
Surging Tides (Passive)
Bonus movement speed toward allies increased from 45 to 90 decaying
Tidecaller's Blessing (E)
Bonus magic damage per hit lowered from 25/40/55/70/85 to 20/35/50/65/80
