LoL Pro-player "TheShy" is surely one of the most impressive players in the world and has a long career behind him. With his newest outplay, he showed again, why many fans are seeing him as the best top laner in the world.
That Kang "TheShy" Seung-lok is considered as one of the best players around, is nothing new for anybody that followed the League of Legends pro-scene in the last years. With his newest outplay in the match against Top Esports, the pro player showed once more, that he might even be the best top laner in the world.
LoL: TheShy With Insane Outplay At LPL Regional Finals
Sometimes a few mouse clicks are enough to go viral, especially if you're a highly regarded pro-player in a competitive sport like League of Legends. Outplays are nothing new for Kang "TheShy" Seung-lok, since he had many in his nearly 10-years as a pro-player.
But the newest addition to his impressive list, proves once more, why many fans consider him the best top laner around. The whole thing happened in a match between Weibo Gaming and Top Esports in the LPL 2023 Regional Finals.

As you can see, in the now viral twitch clip, TheShy and his lane opponent Wayward are exchanging blows on the top lane. At the same Top Esport's Jungler, "Tian" is on his way to gank the top lane and tries to tower dive. So Tian flashes over the nearest wall and tries to stun TheShy under the tower.
TheShy, on Renekton, just flashes forward, away from Tian, and engages Wayward. With the help of a single tower-shot he manages to kill Wayward. Right after the kill, TheShy successfully escapes from Tian with some Renekton dashes.
Needless to say, that the chat and the co-streaming League caster, former pro-player Marc "Caedrel" Lamont went insane.
With a win under their belt against Top Esports, Weibo Gaming manged to qualify for the finals of the LPL regional qualifier against EDG. The match against the 2021 World Champions Edward Gaming took place on August 8, 2023.
Edward Gaming was no match for TheShy and Weibo Gaming who took them down in dominant fashion 3-1.
This also means, that we're going to see TheShy and his team at the League of Legends World Championship in Korea this year. It will be interesting to see, if TheShy will be able to keep his form and the momentum from the LPL Season. If that's the case, Weibo Gaming might be a dark horse to win the Worlds.
Winning on the biggest stage that League of Legends has to offer, is also nothing new for the top lane veteran. He won the Worlds in 2018 with his long term team, Invictus Gaming, with a quick 3-0 win over Fnatic.
