It's time for one more big event in 2022 and that is the LoL Worlds Event. Let's go over all the details, like prices, rewards and everything else you'll need to navigate this in-client event.
Riot is finally rolling out the new event pass with the LoL Worlds 2022 event. This is going to be a complete overhaul of how events have been done to this point, but will this improve fan satisfaction?
Well let's check out this huge event which is going to have three different parts to it with the first being the Spirit Blossom part, then moving onto Tales from the Rift with the Bewitching skins and finishing off with the Empyrean skins, where we will likely be getting the Empyrean K'Sante prestige skin.
LoL Worlds 2022 Event: Start and End Dates
First of all you'll want to know when you can start earning those tokens, right? Well the event kicked off on October 6, 2022 with the release of the Spirit Blossom skins. You'll be able to earn tokens and other rewards through mission until November 14, 2022. The Event shop will stay open until November 21, 2022.
LoL Worlds 2022 Event Pass and Bundle
You can play through the event completely free of charge, but then you won't be able to get all the tokens available. If you're looking to pick up the new Master Yi skin, as well as the one for K'Sante, then you'll have to spend the big bucks on the Event Pass or the Event Pass Bundle.

Worlds 2022 Event Pass Rewards
Riot has shifted to a new event pass system for League of Legends, as promised at the beginning of the year. You'll now be able to see your linear progression, but you'll also be able to see everything you're missing out on if you're a F2P player. So let's check out all the rewards.
Now the new event pass will have a total of 55 milestones. For each milestone you either get tokens, or you can get tokens and another reward like an icon, a Worlds Orb or Eternals Capsules.
So, what milestones would you have to reach as a free to play player to be able to earn some rewards? For the complete list of event pass rewards click here.

If you do buy the pass then you will have to reach milestone 47 to be able to earn 2,000 Event Tokens and pick up the Prestige Spirit Blossom Master Yi skin.
If you're looking to get the Mythic Essence Bundle in the even shop you should wait until you reach Milestone 55 to get 2,2000 Tokens. Milestone 50 to 55 are repeatable, meaning even if you reach this milestone you can keep playing to earn more tokens.
LoL Worlds 2022 Event Loot
We have to also check out the orbs and what they contain, right? Even free to play players will be able to earn their event orbs through the event pass or pick one or two up in the event shop. These are the rewards you can get for free or through purchase:

Empyrean Themed Exclusive Loot
You can also get some Empyrean-themed loot through this event as well with the release of the brand-new Empyrean skins which will hit the rift in League of Legends patch 12.21.

LoL Worlds 2022 Event Missions
Yes, this is confusing and all over the place, but let's get this all figured out. Riot and LoL events is somewhat confusing. On the one hand you've got the pass milestones we just mentioned up top, but there will also be missions for players to complete, no matter if you paid for the event pass or not. Through these missions you'll be able to earn some extra XP to move along your event milestones.
Spirit Blossom Missions
The first missions will come in the form of the Spirit Blossom event. Here you're going to follow the story of Sett as he meets various other Ionian spirits... oh and of course there is some fanservice in this event as well for the shippers out there.
These missions will kick off October 6, 2022:

Tales from the Rift Missions
Now the second part of the LoL Worlds Event (remember this event will have 3 parts in total) is going to be the tales from the rift missions, which are going to be Halloween themed alongside the upcoming Bewitching skins!

Finally, we're going to have a surprise event which will likely be connected to the Empyrean skin line that K'Sante will be released with. This is going to be at the end of the event and will be unlocked November 3, 2022.

Players who complete missions from all parts of the event will earn an extra 500 XP to their milestone event pass as well. So if you're here to get all the rewards, then you better get to playing some games, eh?
