The League of Legends World Championship is the biggest esports event of the year and if you want to be a part of it this year in North America, then you will have to get your hands on some tickets for the event, right? Well, now Riot has finally revealed when you will be able to get tickets.
So, which tickets will go on sale, and where can you get them? Read on to find out everything you need to know about the LoL Worlds 2022 ticket sales. Seriously, you won't want to miss out on the event, so make sure you save up to watch some Worlds 2022 action live.
LoL Worlds 2022 Ticket Sale Dates
On August 18, 2022, Riot announced when the tickets for the League of Legends World Championship will go on sale. With the event taking place in various cities, as well as having multiple stages, tickets won't all go on sale at the same time.
Play-In Stage Ticket Sales
Tickets for the LoL Worlds Play-In stage in Mexico City at the Arena Esports Stadium will go on sale September 8, 2022. You'll be able to pre-save tickets at cinemex.com already beforehand, though. The Play-In Stage will take place between September 29 and October 4, 2022, so you'll have to be quick with your bookings if you're coming from out-of-town.

Group Stage, Quarterfinals and Semifinals Ticket Sales
If you're looking to pick up tickets for the group stage, quarterfinals and semifinals then you're in luck as all these tickets will go online at the same time. Get your metaphorical elbows out and try to get the tickets you really want since this is where you're going to be witnessing peak League of Legends.
Tickets will also go on sale on September 8, 2022. Unlike with the Play-In Stage tickets though, you cannot pre-save tickets, but you can sign up to be notified by mail when tickets go on sale – this includes all ticket types except those for the Play-In Stage.
Finals Ticket Sales
The LoL Worlds 2022 Finals are going to be taking place on November 5, 2022 at Chase Center in San Francisco. The tickets for the Finals will go on sale September 29, 2022 instead of September 8 like the other ticket sales, though.
LoL Worlds 2022 Tickets Cost
The cost for the tickets has not been revealed yet, but in the coming weeks Riot is going to give us more information on the ticket prices. This is going to be the first time since 2019 that fans are allowed back at the World Championship, so this event is going to be huge.
