LoL Worlds 2023: Prize Pool Estimation
Currently, there is only an estimate of how much is in the pot for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship. Riot have not revealed the prize pool for the World Championship yet, which is why we have to go by information from previous years to make our own estimation.
Judging by previous years, the current estimation for the 2023 League of Legends World Championship is around $2.2 million. According to statistics website Statista, the prize pool has hovered around $2.1 and $2.4 million throughout the last five years, so this year likely won't be any different.
How Is The Prize Pool Added Up?
Usually for League of Legends World Championships, Riot will give a base prize pool which can then be increased by the League of Legends community. Sales of the 2023 LoL Worlds 2023 Pass Bundle, Premium Pass Bundle, as well as the Worlds Renekton skin will all be added into the prize pool.
Riot is also going to be selling team icons and emotes with 100% of proceeds going to the teams.

How Is The Prize Pool Split Up?
Of course, we also have to look at how the prize pool will be split up. How much will the winners make? Naturally, the winner will gain the most, with second place and third place also getting decent chunks of the prize pool.
