Recent in-game teasers within Call of Duty: Warzone have sparked excitement and speculation. Treyarch introduced a new Sally Blueprint for the 9mm Daemon with six tallies on it. Fans are guessing this means Black Ops 6 is on the way. Pretty clever hint, right?

Black Ops 6 Seems To Be The Next Call of Duty

It’s all but confirmed that Black Ops 6, also known as Black Ops: Gulf War, will be set during the Gulf War in the early 90s. The game will focus on the CIA’s involvement in the Gulf War conflict, featuring various perspectives and missions that range from tank battles to stealth operations and air-based missions. This period, marking the end of the Cold War, offers a rich backdrop for engaging and intense storytelling.

Players can expect more traditional military combat in the upcoming Call of Duty, unlike the more futuristic tech we’ve seen in the series lately. It looks like they’re bringing back some classic maps like Grind and WMD, and yes, Zombies mode is returning! There’s also talk about new mechanics and a more realistic, tactical approach to both single-player and multiplayer modes.

As with previous releases, there will be lots of content that links Warzone with the main game. Activision is also planning some big pre-order bonuses, including early access to different game modes. So, if you’re eager to jump in early, this might be worth keeping an eye on.

Treyarch has been working on this for a long time, longer than any previous game they’ve made. That means expectations are super high. Given the mixed reviews for recent Call of Duty games, they’ve got a lot of riding on this one.

While nothing is confirmed yet, it looks like Black Ops 6 could be the next big thing for Call of Duty. With a historical setting, classic gameplay elements, and tight integration with Warzone, it’s shaping up to be a game to watch. More details are expected at the Xbox Showcase in June 2024, so stay tuned!
