In an unusual turn of events, the popular streamer IShowSpeed decided to participate in Gloucestershire’s famed annual event, where contestants dash down the 200-yard Cooper’s Hill in pursuit of a rolling wheel of Double Gloucester cheese.

IShowSpeed: From Online Sensation To Cheese Rolling Competitor

With over 24.8 million subscribers, Speed has rapidly risen to prominence as one of the world's top streamers. The 19-year-old is renowned for his eccentric and sometimes outrageous live streams.

Before the race, Speed shared his thoughts in an interview with the BBC. He confessed to feeling "nervous" but also "determined to win."

Despite his lack of training, Speed took his place at the starting line with the other racers. As the event commenced, he soon found himself tumbling down the steep hill. Remarkably, Speed managed to regain his footing and finish in fourth place.

Following the race, Speed humorously mentioned sustaining a leg injury during his descent, joking about needing hospital treatment. However, it appeared he was merely teasing the reporter.

When asked if the experience was worthwhile, Speed enthusiastically affirmed, "Hell yeah," and expressed his eagerness to compete again next year. Go, get that cheese!
