Watch Dogs fans have been eagerly awaiting new content since the last major DLC, Bloodline for Watch Dogs: Legion, was released in 2021. While the series has experienced its share of ups and downs, loyal fans have remained dedicated despite limited communication from Ubisoft developers. Now, the silence has been broken as a film adaptation of the iconic Watch Dogs series has been officially confirmed.

What Do We Know About The New Watch Dogs Movie?

According to "Deadline", the film will be directed by Mathieu Turi, who is known for his expertise in genre filmmaking and brings his unique vision to the project. The screenplay, written by Christie LeBlanc, the writer behind Netflix's "Oxygen" promises a fresh take on the original story.

Produced by New Regency Pictures and Ubisoft Film & Television, the adaptation aims to stay true to the immersive world and compelling story of the game series. While Sophie Wilde of "Talk To Me" is in talks to star, no further casting details have been announced, leaving fans to wait for further updates.
