FromSoftware’s mega hit Elden Ring is getting two new adaptations: a straightforward manga and a novel with a strange, but intriguing premise.
That a game as successful and beloved as Elden Ring is getting further adaptations to other mediums is no surprise. In that sense, the announcements of a new manga and book based on FromSoftware’s RPG hit won’t raise too many eyebrows. One of the two new adaptations that have recently been revealed is pretty straightforward, actually.
Elden Ring: Become Lord is a webcomic/manga published by Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware. It tells the “Adventurous tale of The Tarnished seeking to become the Elden Lord”. Yep, that’s just the story of the game. The manga is supposed to be a faithful retelling of the original, illustrated by artist Hand Punch.
The series will start being released on March 29, and you can already read one teaser chapter on comic-walker. So far, Become Lord is only available in Japanese.
Elden Ring Workplace Love Story Revealed… Yup, You Read That Right
The other Elden Ring adaptation is a bit more creative in its setup. See You At That Grace After Work tells the story of two co-workers who strike a relationship after finding out, that both of them play Elden Ring. No, I’m not making this up.
A new Elden Ring novel is being published by Kadokawa, but it's not what you might think.- The novel is called "See You At The Grace" and focuses on a friendship formed around playing Elden Ring. pic.twitter.com/Nb1oq2NL4j

The novel, written by Keiichi Hikami, actually sounds really cute. The community aspect of FromSoft titles is extremely important, and it’s genuinely nice to see an original story based on that.
See You At The Grace After Work will also release on March 29 and only in Japan for now. I hope both titles will make it to the West at some point, so that Elden Ring shills like myself can get to enjoy these spin-offs.
